Workshops in art, animation, game design and film making with specialist Creative Media tutor Matt George
Matt has worked in schools, libraries, youth clubs, galleries and prisons with people of all ages for nearly twenty years. He has a PGC in Autism and Asperger’s and an assessor’s qualification. He has delivered Arts Awards, BTEC and City and Guilds.
While working at Inscape House School he acquired the title of ‘the autistic whisperer’ for his ability to engage young people with learning.
Matt is taking bookings for single or multiple sessions. Sessions are normally 2 hours long and all equipment and materials will be provided. He generally works in the northwest United Kingdom but he’s nearly always willing to travel.
He does do commercial animation work and is willing to teach anyone art or animation. Maybe you’d like a very different corporate team building group exercise?

This is a film I made with a group of very young Kurdish refugees which won a prize at a film festival. It feels like a very long time ago. Maybe your project will also be an award winner. This film was funded by Firstlight Films, at the time I worked with WFA in Old Trafford. As a guide this film took 6 weeks to make. They young people were in and drawing and recording voiceovers for 4 weeks 5 days per week and I had a further 2 weeks to put it together. A crazy rush but such great fun
I’m currently working with Timeout Group Handforth, please contact Emma if you’d like to attend or ask about me 🙂
